YOU PASTE THIS (PROMPT 04 OF 20) Act as an experienced freelancer. Write a short proposal for this job: A family-run coffee shop in Austin wants help posting on Instagram three times a week. They have about 900 followers, have not posted in a month, and the owner says she has no time to write captions. No budget is stated. Open with their problem, show I understand it, explain how I will solve it, mention my turnaround time, and end with one clear next step. Keep it under 150 words.
ABOUT 8 SECONDS LATER, A FIRST DRAFT TO MAKE YOUR OWN

Here is a proposal you can send as is. Fill in the three brackets first.

Hi [Owner's name],

Your shop has 900 followers who already like you, but a month of silence means they are not seeing you in their feed. You are busy running a family business, and writing captions is the task that keeps slipping.

I can take that off your plate. Each week I will write three ready-to-post captions in your shop's voice, with hashtags that help Austin locals find you and a simple posting schedule. You send me a few phone photos and any specials or events, and I handle the rest. You approve everything before it goes live.

Turnaround: your first week of captions arrives within [X] days of receiving your photos, and every following batch lands by [day] for the week ahead.

Could we do a 15-minute call this week? I will bring three sample captions written for your shop.

Best, [Your name]

Two notes:

  • Only promise a turnaround you can actually keep. Two to three days for the first batch is a reasonable range if it fits your schedule.
  • No budget was stated, so I left price out. Raise it on the call once you know how much she wants handled (captions only, or posting and replying to comments too).

Why not just ask ChatGPT?

You can. The hard part is knowing exactly what to ask.

If you have typed "write me a proposal" into an AI tool, you know what comes back: something polite, generic, and written for no one in particular. The prompt above makes the AI work from the actual job: the client's problem, how you will solve it, your turnaround and one clear next step. That is what you are buying.

What it helps with

Less time on first drafts. More time on the work that matters.

Skip the blank page

Every prompt hands you a first draft to react to, so you are editing instead of starting from nothing.

Drafts in minutes

In our test, each prompt came back in under a minute. Your time goes into improving the draft.

Less on your plate

The proposal, the price list and the week of posts get a head start, one prompt at a time.

A second pass built in

The follow-up line under each prompt asks the AI to sharpen its first answer.

Why this exists

A note from the person who made it

Prompt Orchard is one person, not a company with a marketing team. I built this toolkit for people who are good at their actual work and stuck on the writing around it: the proposal, the quote, the follow-up email that never quite gets sent.

AI can help with that, but only if you know exactly what to ask. So I worked out the asking. Every prompt in the toolkit has been run, and the answers were saved unedited, which is why the example at the top of this page is shown exactly as it came back.

I will not promise you more clients or more money. What I can promise is a faster first draft that you then make your own, and a full refund if it does not help.

Questions

Good to know

How do I get it?

Right after payment you land on your download page. Bookmark it, because it is your private link for downloading again. If you lose it, email support@promptorchard.com from the address you used at checkout and we will send it to you.

Do I need to be technical?

No. If you can copy and paste, you can use the prompts. Some admin prompts suggest no-code tools, which may have their own costs.

Will this grow my business?

We cannot promise that, and we do not sell it that way. The toolkit is a set of prompts that gives you first drafts faster. Whether that leads to more clients or sales depends on your business and your effort. AI can also get things wrong, so read and edit every draft before you send it.

Where does the approach come from?

Each prompt gives the AI a role, your context, clear instructions and an output format, as the prompting guides from Anthropic and OpenAI recommend. The pricing prompt asks for three tiers, the good-better-best approach described in Harvard Business Review. On whether AI helps at all: in a 2023 MIT experiment, professionals using ChatGPT on writing tasks took 40% less time and were graded higher (summary), while a Harvard Business School and BCG study found AI users were faster on most tasks but less accurate on tasks outside what AI does well (report). Those studies tested AI tools in general, not this toolkit. Prompt Orchard is not affiliated with or endorsed by any organization named here.
